Open Days
Open Events at Thomas Hall School
Throughout the school year, we hold a series of Open Events for prospective families interested in joining our school. There are two main entry points at Thomas Hall: Reception and Year 7.
Year 7 Open Events
Our Year 7 Open Events take place in September and early October.
Please note that parents must submit their secondary school preferences by 31st October 2027.
Reception Open Events
Our Reception Open Events are held in November and January.
Primary school preferences must be submitted by 15th January 2027.
In-Year Admissions
If you are considering an In-Year Admission, you can book one of our Headteacher Tours or email the Admissions Team, who will be happy to advise on current availability and arrange a visit.
Whole-School Open Event
You are also welcome to attend our Whole-School Open Event, which is primarily aimed at students joining Year 7 in September 2027. However, all families may find it valuable. You'll have the opportunity to explore the secondary school and meet the teachers. While our primary staff may not be present, you will still be able to tour the entire school site, including the primary section.

Year 7 September 2027 -Open Events
Forest School Taster Session - EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER
Are you currently in Year 6 and considering joining Thomas Hall School for Year 7?
Come and experience our outdoor learning environment with a Forest School Taster Session, designed especially for pupils who do not currently attend Thomas Hall School. Explore our woodland setting Meet staff and discover more about life at Thomas Hall Experience learning beyond the classroom.
Please note - this is not a tour of the school and is for students only.

Reception Year September 2027 - Open Events
Monday 23rd November – 3.45pm - 5.00pm – Stay & Play session with Headteacher
Starting at 3.45pm, our Headteacher, Mrs Webster, will meet families for an introduction and brief question and answer session. You will then be taken on a tour of our primary school, ending in our Early Years provision, where children can enjoy a ‘Stay and Play’ session in our wonderful Reception classroom. This is also a lovely opportunity for families to meet our Early Years team, explore the classroom and see what life at our school is like.
Monday 4th January – 2.45pm - 3.30pm - Stay & Play Session
Children can enjoy a ‘Stay and Play’ session in our wonderful Reception classroom while families have the opportunity to meet our Early Years team, explore the learning environment and get a feel for what life at our school is like.
Headteacher Tours
We are excited to invite you to a personal tour led by our Head Teacher, Charlotte Webster. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience first-hand what makes our school unique.
